The highly anticipated Black Mesa: Military mod is now available! This impressive mod adds a brand new single-player campaign to the Black Mesa game. It’s been a labor of love for the creators, who have been working on it since September 2018 – a total of almost eight years.
This mod lets you play as a soldier from the Hazardous Environments unit, sent to the Black Mesa facility to restore order after the events of Half-Life. The mod features a completely original campaign, separate from the Half-Life: Opposing Force expansion, even though they share a similar premise.
The newest update to Black Mesa: Military makes enemies smarter and improves several areas within the game’s campaign. The story’s ending has been made more complete, and numerous technical issues have been resolved. The team has also simplified the installation process for the mod.
The creators are marking this release as the completion of the project. While they might want to add more features or make improvements later on, they aren’t making any commitments to do so at this time.
