Wizards of the Coast and Archetype Entertainment revealed a new trailer for their action RPG, Exodus, during The Game Awards 2025. The trailer showcased the game’s main character, Jun Aslan, and provided a glimpse of the combat system and other characters like Jun’s companion, C.C. Orlev.
The new trailer introduces Jun, a scavenger who discovers she’s the last of the Traveler family and humanity’s only chance against a powerful threat known as the Celestials. It also showcases the game’s action-packed shooting gameplay, featuring futuristic weapons and special abilities, and includes voiceover lines from Matthew McConaughey, who portrays the character C.C. Orlev.
The game Exodus is scheduled to launch on PC (through Steam and the Epic Games Store), PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S in 2027. Orlev, a mysterious figure voiced by Matthew McConaughey, who guides Jun and whose past remains shrouded in mystery.
Developers describe EXODUS as a story about human strength and heroism in the face of adversity, where player choices have lasting consequences. Set in a futuristic galaxy where technology has unlocked incredible power, EXODUS promises an epic and impactful experience. The game is scheduled for release in early 2027.
