Perp Games and Project Cloud Games revealed a new trailer for their game, *The Relic: First Guardian*, during the PC Gaming Show: Tokyo Direct.
Along with a short trailer shown during the presentation, Perp Games released an eight-minute gameplay video. This video shows players exploring a destroyed village, learning the story by finding notes, and battling a boss from start to finish.
PC Gamer reports that The Relic: First Guardian boasts 50 weapons and over 80 bosses. Unlike many games in the ‘soulslike’ genre, it doesn’t limit your actions with a stamina bar, letting you attack freely.
You can watch the latest trailers for The Relic: First Guardian below. We got a first look at gameplay back in August 2024, and Perp Games has been sharing clips of boss battles on their YouTube channel.
The Relic: First Guardian will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam in early 2026.
