The new trailer for the upcoming release has generated excitement among fans, giving them a preview of what to expect when it premieres in April.
The trailer for the new *Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon -Shining Theater Shinagawa Tokyo show is out, and it shows the Sailor Guardians and Tuxedo Mask in their full costumes, hitting their classic poses. The first part of the show starts on April 4th at the Club eX in the Shinagawa Prince Hotel and will run until July 2026. It features a brand-new story where the characters battle a powerful new enemy, Queen Valusia.

New Sailor Moon Production Gears Up for Release With New Trailer
The stage show, *Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon -Shining Theater Shinagawa Tokyo, will feature two different casts – Team Gold Moon and Team Silver Moon – who will share the roles. Each team includes all ten Sailor Guardians and other characters, and will perform on different dates.

The performance includes a dance ensemble called “Valusia Code,” featuring dancers MIKU, Nanako Gonda, Kyoka, Ayano Watanabe, Yuuka Nomura, Honoka Oda, ZAIHANA, and Miyuu. They embody the world of the play through their movement.
The show’s writer, Shinjiro Kameda, observed rehearsals and said the cast is giving it their all to create a fantastic show. He encouraged fans to attend and experience it firsthand. This production is ambitious, combining classic stage performance with the immersive style that’s become popular at recent Sailor Moon events.
Sailor Moon Shining Theater Shinagawa Tokyo Aims to Deliver Immersive Experience
The new musical will have special drinks and food to help fans fully immerse themselves in the show’s world. Guests can try original desserts and collectible ‘Crystal Bottle Drinks’ featuring unique items themed around the Sailor Guardians and Tuxedo Mask.

Tickets are now available for the first phase, with different options to suit your preferences. Premium seats cost 18,000 yen (about $119) and include special benefits. Standard S seats are 13,000 yen (about $86), and Class A seats are 8,000 yen (about $53), with a reduced price of 4,000 yen (about $26) for children aged 4-12. If you’d like a private space, the “BOX Room” is available for 32,000 yen (about $212).
The musical was originally planned for 2020 but was delayed by the pandemic. It’s now scheduled to run from August to September 2026.
