Netflix released a new trailer for Season 2 of One Piece, the popular live-action series based on Eiichiro Oda’s famous manga. The new season will begin streaming on March 10, 2026.
Season 2 follows Luffy and the Straw Hat crew as they begin their adventure on the Grand Line – a famous and dangerous sea filled with incredible sights and challenges. Their quest for the ultimate treasure will lead them to strange islands and powerful new foes.

What is shown in the new One Piece Season 2 teaser trailer?
The new video introduces the Baroque Works organization, a group of assassins led by Mr. 0. They’ll be the Straw Hat pirates’ first big obstacle in the Grand Line. Season 2 will feature Lera Abova as Nico Robin (Miss All Sunday), Charithra Chandran as Princess Vivi (Miss Wednesday), David Dastmalchian as Mr. 3, Camrus Johnson as Mr. 5, Jazzara Jaslyn as Miss Valentine, Daniel Lasker as Mr. 9, and Sophia Ann Caruso as Miss Goldenweek. The trailer shows off each character’s unique abilities, including Nico Robin’s special moves, and hints at some fun interactions between Robin, Luffy, and the crew.
The upcoming live-action adaptation of One Piece is spearheaded by Steven Maeda (The X-Files) and Matt Owens (Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D), with Owens and Joe Tracz leading the creative team. The series stars Iñaki Godoy as Monkey D. Luffy, alongside Mackenyu as Roronoa Zoro, Emily Rudd as Nami, Jacob Romero Gibson as Usopp, and Taz Skylar as Sanji. Season 2 will feature many beloved characters from the original manga, portrayed by actors including Mikaela Hoover as Tony Tony Chopper, Katey Sagal as Dr. Kureha, Callum Kerr as Smoker, Julia Rehwald as Tashigi, and Rigo Sanchez as Monkey D. Dragon, plus a special appearance by Joe Manganiello as Crocodile/Mr. 0. Even before Season 2 premieres, the show has been renewed for a third season, and Cobra Kai‘s Xolo Maridueña will join the cast as the important character Portgas D. Ace.
