PepsiCo is launching new versions of Doritos and Cheetos with the same great flavor, but designed to eliminate those telltale orange (or cheesy!) finger stains that fans either enjoy or dislike.
Simply NKD now offers clear versions of popular Cheetos flavors like Nacho Cheese, Cool Ranch, Cheetos Puffs, and Flamin’ Hot—and they won’t leave your fingers covered in red dust!
PepsiCo is releasing a new version of its popular chips, made without any artificial flavors or colors. The company promises this new option will still have the same bold taste as the original, just without the added coloring.
PepsiCo says NKD strips the snacks down without changing the taste
Rachel Ferdinando, CEO of PepsiCo Foods U.S., explains that the NKD line was created to give consumers more choices without changing the original flavors they love. The new products show that Doritos and Cheetos can still deliver their classic taste even without artificial colors.
According to the company, NKD chips were created in only eight weeks. Their research and development teams worked to make a clear version of the chips that maintains the familiar taste and satisfying crunch customers love.

PepsiCo confirmed the first wave of Simply NKD products includes:
The Doritos and Cheetos Simply NKD line includes Nacho Cheese and Cool Ranch Doritos, as well as Puffs and Flamin’ Hot Cheetos.
PepsiCo isn’t alone in updating its chips this year. Lay’s announced changes back in October, including a new logo, using olive oil instead of other oils, and getting rid of artificial colors.
