Hey everyone, I just checked out the first gameplay footage for MotoGP 26 and I’m pretty excited! Milestone really revamped the physics engine, which looks awesome. They’re also adding some new tracks and letting us race with 1000cc bikes. This fifteen-minute video gives you a good look at what to expect when the game finally drops. Let’s jump right in and see what it’s all about!
MotoGP 26 Gameplay Reveal – Everything You Need to Know
This week, a new 15-minute gameplay video for MotoGP 26 was released, showcasing the game’s 1000cc bikes and updated physics engine. While MotoGP 26 builds on the experience of the previous game, the video offers a first look at several new features and enhancements.
As a long-time MotoGP player, I immediately noticed the updated physics. The handling feels way more realistic when taking corners, and the weather actually makes a huge difference now. If you want to see what I mean, check out the video around the 7:30 mark – we’re at Silverstone in the rain, and you can really feel it.
MotoGP now features a new system that affects how each rider handles the bike, complete with updated animations. It’s difficult to fully grasp just by watching, but it successfully makes each rider feel distinct and encourages players to experiment to find their preferred style.
The latest gameplay footage introduces a new UK location for the Race-Off mode. Players can compete on two different tracks, switching between motorcycle types like Motard, Minibikes, and Flat Track.
Of course, these are just some of the new features and improvements coming to the game.
Milestone is adding a new, evolving ratings system to MotoGP 26 that will change throughout the season as the MotoGP Championship unfolds. The game will feature all official riders from the MotoGP, Moto2, and Moto3 classes, and players will be able to unlock additional content by collecting card packs. These packs contain cards with varying levels of rarity and unique artwork.
MotoGP also includes both a realistic ‘Pro’ mode and a more accessible ‘Arcade’ mode, just like in RIDE 6. The Arcade mode is designed to be easier for players new to racing games. Plus, you can race with friends on different platforms thanks to cross-play, creating grids of up to 22 riders (on all platforms except Nintendo Switch versions 1 and 2). There’s also a detailed graphic editor and plenty of other features to enjoy.
MotoGP 26’s career mode is getting a major overhaul with exciting new features. Expect a fully realized 3D Paddock and fresh ways to prepare for each race, making this year’s Career mode the most immersive yet.
That covers everything shown in the MotoGP 26 gameplay reveal. We’re excited to learn more about the game and are counting down to its release in April.
