New Halloween Week “Good-to-Go” Days Announced for Annual Passholders at Walt Disney World

Walt Disney World in Florida is making it easier for annual passholders to visit in late October. They’ve added four dates – October 27th, 28th, 29th, and 30th – as “Good-to-Go” days. This means passholders can visit any of the theme parks without needing to make a reservation beforehand.

It’s unusual to see this happen so close to Halloween on the 31st. It seems Disney doesn’t anticipate many visitors before the holiday itself.

What “Good-to-Go” Means

Disney World uses “Good-to-Go” days to indicate when annual passholders can visit the parks without needing to make a reservation beforehand. On most days, passholders still need both a valid annual pass and a park reservation for the park they plan to visit.

If a passholder’s pass has blockout dates, they can still visit any of the parks after 2 p.m. without needing a reservation, except for Magic Kingdom on Saturdays and Sundays.

The Recent Update and its Context

These October updates build on previous announcements. We previously added October 1st and 2nd to the calendar on September 26th, and on October 22nd, we added the remaining dates.

This change is part of a larger pattern. A report from October 2025 noted that the resort seems to be consistently adding more “Good-to-Go” days, and speculated this could indicate a change in how reservations work for annual passholders.

What Annual Passholders Should Note

  • Even with an annual pass, there may be certain dates when it isn’t valid, or eligibility may depend on the type of pass you have.

  • If a date changes to “Good-to-Go” after you’ve already made a park reservation for it, your original reservation will be canceled and won’t use one of your allowed reservations.

  • We release “Good-to-Go” dates gradually, usually a few days or weeks ahead of time, instead of publishing the entire year’s schedule at once.

  • Okay, so beyond the new “Good-to-Go” system, things are pretty much the same for annual passholders. You’ll still need to make a park reservation, and at most parks, you’ve got until 2 p.m. to do so. Magic Kingdom on weekends? Reservations are always required, so plan ahead for that one!

Implications

Passholders visiting the parks from October 27th to 30th will have more flexibility – they won’t need to plan which park to visit ahead of time as carefully. This change might mean less need to make park reservations in advance for those dates. It also shows the resort is adapting how it manages crowds and gives guests access to the parks.

Annual passholders should continue to check their personal calendars on the My Disney Experience app or the annual passholder admissions calendar. Since special date releases happen gradually, it’s important to double-check availability – and any block-out dates for your specific pass type – to avoid making plans that don’t work out.
