Okay, so huge news for us gamers! They just announced a brand new FIFA game, and get this – it’s coming to Netflix Games, totally free if you already subscribe. Seriously, no extra cost! I’m stoked to finally be able to play a new FIFA without having to buy it separately.
Following the launch of FIFA 23, EA SPORTS and football’s governing body ended their almost 30-year relationship. This marked a significant change for the popular video game series, which was renamed EA SPORTS FC, leaving fans curious about the future of FIFA-licensed games.
We finally know what’s next for FIFA! A new game has been announced and it will be available only on Netflix.
New FIFA game coming exclusively on Netflix
Delphi Interactive unexpectedly announced on December 17th that they are creating a new game, set to launch next summer, coinciding with the FIFA World Cup 2026.
This game will only be available through Netflix Games – you won’t be able to buy or play it separately on PlayStation, Xbox, or computers. Best of all, if you already have a Netflix subscription, it’s included at no extra charge.
We don’t know much about the game yet, but it seems to be connected to the World Cup. The announcement promises a fun and exciting experience that’s easy to pick up and play, capturing the energy and excitement of the tournament for everyone.

Okay, so here’s the interesting thing: instead of using a regular controller, they’re letting us play this game using just our smartphones! It’s got me wondering if it’s even going to feel like a FIFA game, honestly. We’ll have to wait and see how it actually plays.
That’s all the information available at this time, but we’ll learn more in 2026. The first game of the World Cup is scheduled for June 11th.
