New DC & Marvel Crossovers Revealed, Features Dream Spider-Man Team-up

In early 2025, DC and Marvel surprised comic book fans by announcing they would team up for a crossover event—the first of its kind in over twenty years. The initial books featuring characters from both Marvel and DC were very popular with readers. Now, a new series is planned, and Spider-Man will be featured in another team-up as part of a crossover anthology.

The upcoming crossover comic from DC and Marvel will be called Superman/Spider-Man #1. This story brings together Spider-Man and Superman and celebrates 50 years of team-ups between Marvel and DC. The two heroes first collaborated in a crossover event back in 1976, marking the beginning of these partnerships.

Mark Waid is writing the upcoming team-up comic featuring Superman and Spider-Man, with artwork by Jorge Jiménez. The story begins with both Clark Kent and Peter Parker independently investigating the same case for their newspapers. Their investigation leads them to a dangerous alliance between Brainiac and Doctor Octopus, forcing Superman and Spider-Man to team up and protect the world.
