A person with a Neuralink implant is now able to play World of Warcraft simply by thinking, without using a mouse or keyboard. They are exploring the game and participating in raids using only their thoughts.
Jon L. Noble, a veteran of the British Army, became paralyzed from the shoulders down after a car accident in 2003. In December 2025, he volunteered for a clinical trial with Neuralink and received their N1 implant.
Ever since getting the implant, the former paratrooper has been sharing his progress online. He began by using it to control a simple Apple MacBook, but now he’s moved on to a much bigger challenge: playing video games.

On X, Noble said he was “ready for the big leagues” 80 days after using it for the first time.

After living with the Neuralink N1 implant for over 100 days, Noble says it still feels futuristic, but he’s experiencing real advantages beyond just playing video games like World of Warcraft.
After just 100 days, I’m completely hooked! The N1 isn’t just a new device; it’s changed how I live my life. I’m excited to see what happens next!
I was so excited to hear that Neuralink is already being used for gaming! Apparently, Noland Arbaugh, the very first person to get the chip implanted, said it felt like having an aimbot – which is incredible! He thinks it could be amazing for fast-paced games like Quake or other shooters, and honestly, that sounds awesome.
