I’ve been watching the new season of this anime on Netflix, and it’s quickly becoming one of the most popular shows on the platform – it’s really taken off just a few days after it started streaming!
I’m so excited to share that Record of Ragnarok is officially a top 10 hit on Netflix globally! According to Flix Patrol, it’s landed at number four, and that’s just a week after Season 3 dropped! It’s right behind The Abandons at number three, but Stranger Things and the Sean Combs: The Reckoning docuseries are still holding strong at the top two spots. What a win for Record of Ragnarok fans!
Record of Ragnarok Season 3 Dominates Netflix Streaming Charts
Inspired by the continuing manga series by Shinya Umemura, Takumi Fukui, and Azychika, Ragnarök depicts humanity’s last stand to earn its survival. Facing certain destruction at the hands of the Gods’ Council, who have decided to destroy the world and begin anew, humanity is granted one final chance to prove its value.
The Einherjar represent humanity in this incredible tournament. These skilled and clever warriors are each paired with a Valkyrie. If an Einherjar falls in battle during Ragnarök, their Valkyrie will also perish.
The Record of Ragnarok manga currently has 26 volumes, but the anime is quickly catching up. After three seasons and just 42 episodes, it’s already covered 12 out of the total planned rounds of Ragnarok. Although a fourth season hasn’t been confirmed, fans are hoping to see the story conclude in a potential Season 4.
With all the positive attention Record of Ragnarok is receiving, an announcement for Season 4 could come soon. While Rotten Tomatoes doesn’t have enough reviews to give it an official score, the existing reviews for Season 3 are overwhelmingly positive. To give you some context, Season 1 currently has a 67% audience score based on over 100 reviews, and Season 2 has a 76% approval rating from more than 50 reviewers.
