Netflix’s Korean Romance ‘Melo Movie’ Sets Valentine’s Day Launch – Global Bulletin

REEL ROMANCE

I’m thrilled to share that this Valentine’s Day, I’m putting my money on love with the release of “Melo Movie,” a captivating romantic drama series. Starring the talented actor Choi Woo-shik from “Parasite” and Park Bo-young, who stole hearts in “Strong Girl Bong-soon,” this series is set to premiere worldwide on February 14th.

The plot revolves around a movie critic named Choi, who reconnects with an emerging director called Park after many years, following a puzzling event that caused their separation. In addition to them, actor Lee Jun-young, known for his role in “Mask Girl”, and Jeon So-nee, star of “Parasyte: The Grey”, portray another couple dealing with the complexities of love and professional aspirations.

In charge of direction for “Hotel del Luna,” is the talented Oh Choong-hwan, whose work is followed closely. The script, on the other hand, is penned by Lee Na-eun, who has proven her skills in “Our Beloved Summer.” Together, their creative minds strive to interweave elements of romance and growth into the narrative.

The project signifies another prestigious Korean production on Netflix, as the streaming platform increases its collection of K-dramas after successful releases such as “A Killer Paradox” and “Daily Dose of Sunshine,” both featuring actors from the “Melo Movie” group.

Or, in a shorter version:

The project is another high-profile Korean original for Netflix, expanding its K-drama library following hits like “A Killer Paradox” and “Daily Dose of Sunshine,” starring actors from the “Melo Movie” ensemble.
