If you’re looking for something to watch on Netflix this weekend, you might be interested in their Jurassic Park series, which features some well-known actors. When it comes to dinosaur movies, the Jurassic Park franchise is still one of the best, even if some of the later films feel a little similar to each other.
While the Jurassic Park and World films uniquely deliver a sense of wonder and thrills, the franchise also has incredible potential as a TV series, as proven by one of Netflix’s top shows. If you’re hoping for a compelling and dramatic Jurassic Park story with well-developed characters, you’ve found it.
Glen Powell Refused A Jurassic World Movie But Not A Series
Glen Powell has quickly become a popular leading actor in Hollywood. He’s been in several successful films, including Top Gun: Maverick, Anyone but You, and Twisters. Powell’s career is booming, and he recently landed a role as Fox McCloud in The Super Mario Galaxy Movie. However, he hasn’t appeared in any Jurassic Park films yet.
Apparently, the reason Powell wasn’t in Scarlett Johansson’s Jurassic World Rebirth is that he turned down a role. It seems he was offered the part of Dr. Henry Loomis, which Jonathan Bailey of Bridgerton ultimately played. Powell typically plays action heroes, so this role wasn’t a good fit. Interestingly, he does lend his voice to a character in the Jurassic World universe – he voices Dave, a skilled camp counselor, in the Netflix animated series Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous.
Why Netflix’s Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous Season 1 Is The Perfect One-Night Weekend Binge
Keep an eye out for Jack Powell and Jenna Ortega (from Wednesday) in the Netflix series Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous. It’s a great show, and it’s interesting to hear Powell’s voice work after he was cast in The Super Mario Galaxy Movie. If you’re looking for a lesser-known Jurassic Park story or just a good animated series, this is the one to watch this weekend.
The Jurassic Park series has been a hit on Netflix for five seasons. If you’re looking for a quick watch this weekend, the first season of Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous is a great choice. It’s an animated series that expands the Jurassic Park story and leaves you wondering what might happen next. Plus, with only eight episodes, it’s perfect for a single night of viewing.
With each episode lasting 24 minutes, you can finish the first season of the Netflix series Jurassic Park: Camp Cretaceous in a little over three hours. It’s the ideal show to binge-watch over a weekend, offering fast-paced dinosaur action, engaging characters, and a surprising amount of depth compared to the Jurassic Park films. You’ll definitely enjoy a weekend spent watching Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous season 1.
