I have to say, ever since Adolescence dropped on Netflix on March 13, 2025, it’s quickly become one of my all-time favorite shows on the platform. And it’s not just me saying that – Netflix’s numbers confirm it! Apparently, it’s already the second most-watched English-language series ever on Netflix, which is pretty incredible considering it’s only been out for less than a year. There are so many reasons why it’s a standout psychological thriller, but the viewership alone speaks volumes.

As a huge fan of thrillers, I was really impressed with how well Adolescence did on Netflix! It racked up over 142 million views in just three months – only Wednesday Season 1, which was a massive hit with 252 million views, beat it. But it’s not just popular, it’s good. Critics absolutely loved it, giving it a near-perfect 97% score on Rotten Tomatoes. Plus, it’s already winning awards, which is fantastic to see!

As a huge fan, I’m so impressed with how much recognition this show has gotten – it’s already won eight Emmys, including awards for the series itself and a lead actor! What’s really cool is that it didn’t rely on big Hollywood names. Instead, the cast is made up of mostly new faces and some fantastic British actors, which gives the whole show a really fresh and unpredictable vibe. And honestly, everyone delivered incredibly powerful performances – it was amazing to watch!
