Compile Heart recently announced details for
Choushinjikuu Game Neptune Unlimited in Japan. The announcement mainly focused on special bonus items available at various Japanese retailers, but it also confirmed a Season Pass will be released, offering a collection of downloadable content packs.
The new Neptunia game will receive downloadable content (DLC) packs that each include extra story scenarios, as well as additional accessories and items. The first DLC pack launches in Japan on August 27th, the same day as the game, and more packs will follow throughout 2026, released one per month.
A detailed schedule for the DLC packs’ gradual releases in Japan is also available right below:
- 1st DLC pack – August 27 – 3 Sub Scenarios, 3 In-Game Items, and 2 In-Game Accessories
- 2nd DLC pack – September 24 – 3 Sub Scenarios, 3 In-Game Items, and 2 In-Game Accessories
- 3rd DLC pack – October 29 – 4 Sub Scenarios, 3 In-Game Items, and 2 In-Game Accessories
- 4th DLC pack – November 26 – 3 Sub Scenarios, 3 In-Game Items, and 2 In-Game Accessories
- 5th DLC pack – December 24 – 5 Sub Scenarios, 2 In-Game Items, and 1 In-Game Accessory
The Season Pass is included with both the ¥19,800 Galaxy Edition and the ¥14,300 Digital Deluxe Edition. The Digital Deluxe Edition also features a digital art book and soundtrack, and the Galaxy Edition includes a special promotional card for the Divine Cross card game. The standard ¥8,580 edition of the game does not automatically come with the Season Pass.
Choushinjikuu Game Neptune Unlimited is launching in Japan on August 27th for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 & 5. As of today, Idea Factory hasn’t announced plans to release the game in English-speaking regions.
