On Tuesday, November 26th, the next installment of “The Need for Speed Unbound” series, titled “Volume 9: Lockdown,” will be released. So, what’s new for the gamers this time around?

In Volume 9, the central theme is “Lockdown,” a multiplayer experience that pits five teams of up to three players against each other and law enforcement, as well as an ever-expanding Lockdown Zone. The game’s progression is orchestrated by Racer X, who manipulates various elements such as scheduling the appearance of the Extraction Truck. This player vs player vs environment mode encourages teamwork to accomplish tasks, acquire new vehicles, and break into secure locations for them. Secure the Extraction Truck to keep the fresh motorbike you’ve earned among your loot.

If you fail to catch the Truck, you’ll get hit by an EMP blast that might severely affect you.

In the lockdown, there are four groups of tasks for players to accomplish. Among these tasks are the Blacklist Contracts, which involve utilizing Blacklist automobiles from the Lockups and extracting them. Finish all Blacklist contracts to unlock the iconic “Most Wanted” BMW M3 GTR originally.

Additionally, getting a fresh Volume also grants you access to a brand-new Speed Pass, which offers 45 levels brimming with prizes waiting to be unlocked. Among these rewards, you’ll find the Subaru Impreza WRX STI, along with numerous other goodies.
