Ned Fulmer & wife Ariel start podcast 3 years after cheating scandal shattered Try Guys

Okay, so it’s wild to me that Ned Fulmer is back in the public eye! It’s been three years since everything went down with the cheating scandal – you remember, it totally blew up online and caused a huge mess for The Try Guys. It’s just… surprising to see him popping up again after all that.

Ned Fulmer was one of the four original members of the Try Guys, a popular YouTube group known for filming themselves trying new and often unusual activities, from baking without instructions to competitive eating challenges like a dumpling-eating contest.

Brandon Fulmer frequently spoke about his wife, Ariel, and became known as a ‘wife guy.’ However, this image ultimately led to his downfall when news broke in September 2022 that he had been having an affair with a colleague.

Because of his actions, Fulmer was removed from the group. The other members then released a video on YouTube condemning his behavior and making it clear they disapproved of it.

Fulmer addressed the issue in a social media post, offering an apology to Ariel and stating his priority is his family – his marriage and children – and that’s where he’ll be concentrating his efforts.

Wow, it’s been a long time! Almost three years after everything came out about Adam Fulmer, he’s finally back online. He just did an interview with People magazine on September 16th, 2025, where he’s talking about why he’s been so quiet all this time. It’s good to hear from him after so long!

During the interview, Fulmer shared that he and Ariel remain a couple, but acknowledged their relationship faced difficulties immediately after his infidelity became public.

He explained that he’d stayed away from social media and the internet for a while because he didn’t believe it was good for his mental wellbeing.

He and Ariel went to couples counseling to address his infidelity, and he admitted there were times he thought their relationship might not recover. Despite the difficult situation, he believes their marriage is now stronger than ever before.

He explained that they now have a much better understanding of personal boundaries – knowing where each person stands and respecting those limits. They’re also more honest and straightforward with each other, even when it’s difficult.

Now that he’s no longer with The Try Guys, Zach Fulmer is starting a new podcast called ‘Rock Bottom’ where he plans to discuss what he’s learned from his recent mistakes.

The show features interviews with people facing incredibly difficult times – whether they’re battling addiction, adjusting to life after being incarcerated, or dealing with intense online criticism.

He shared with People magazine that learning about difficult experiences has sparked a greater curiosity in him. He’s become fascinated by what happens after someone goes through something deeply upsetting or shameful, and how they rebuild their life afterward.

Rock Bottom will premiere on Wednesday, September 17th, featuring Ariel as a co-host. This marks Trent Fulmer’s return to creating content after taking a break from online activity in 2022.

The Try Guys faced a major shakeup when Adam Fulmer left, resulting in a significant loss of sponsorships worth millions of dollars. Later, Eugene Lee Yang also decided to leave to focus on his own ventures. Now, the channel continues with Keith Habersberger and Zach Kornfeld as the remaining members, successfully running it as a pair.
