NCIS: Origins Has Added A New Addition To Leroy Jethro Gibbs’ NIS Team
In Season 2 of NCIS: Origins, Agent Herman “Herm” Daniels is back on active duty, joining Mike Franks’ team. The midseason finale concludes the first half of the season and features several important plot advancements, including a preview of Herm’s return.
I was so relieved to see Herm back on the job! Apparently, Randy, another special agent, started a petition at Camp Pendleton to get Daniels reinstated, and it worked! Herm had been sidelined helping out Richard Kowalski, who manages all the evidence, and also taking care of the agency’s K-9 unit, so it’s great to have him back in the field.
Herm hadn’t worked in the field since an incident during Season 2, Episode 8 of NCIS: Origins. He froze up while on duty and couldn’t perform his job. Though he’s reluctant to return to action in the midseason finale, Herm proves vital when the team raids Twitchy Tony (Travis Hammer)’s warehouse.
Herm proved he’s a top-notch NIS agent in the latest episode, signaling that Daniels is back on the team. When the series returns, Gibbs will have a new member joining Mike, Randy, Gibbs, and Lala Dominguez (Mariel Molino).
What Herm Daniels’ NCIS: Origins Story Means For The Procedural Series
The show’s development of its four main characters shows it’s growing and continuing the franchise’s tradition of creative storytelling.
