The NBA 2K26 Season 4 Release Date is Friday, February 20th, 2026 at 8AM PT/11AM ET.
Similar to past NBA 2K seasons, Season 4 will bring fresh content to both MyCAREER and MyTEAM modes. A new season pass is also coming, offering 80 free rewards to unlock as you play. We’ll have a full list of rewards for you when the season launches, so stay tuned!
NBA 2K26 Season 5 Patch Notes
The official patch notes for NBA 2K26 aren’t available yet. However, based on how updates have been released in the past, we anticipate they’ll be announced around the launch of the new season. Please check back with us next week for any updates.
What To Expect In Season 5
Season 5 is launching with a new Season Pass, offering rewards for both MyTEAM and MyCAREER. The good news is you don’t have to play both modes to progress – focusing on MyCAREER will earn you rewards in MyTEAM as well. Plus, we’ll have another Pro Pass available with even more rewards if you choose to buy it.
The new season will probably include fresh content for The W mode, such as special Seasonal and Weekly Challenges. We might also get more player-created builds, and an update to the MyTEAM mobile game.
Look for the Season 5 Courtside Report to be released next week. It will include details about the season and reveal who the cover athlete is. We’ll share the report shortly before the season launches, so keep an eye out!
