Serenity Forge and Cinnadev have revealed Delphinium, a story-driven farming game coming to Xbox and PC (via Steam) in 2027.
Cinnadev is a small game development team from Adelaide, South Australia. They’re dedicated to making story-focused games that prominently feature LGBTQ+ characters and themes. A playable demo of their game, Delphinium, was shown to the press at the GDC 2026 event.

Serenity Forge and Cinnadev announced today their upcoming game, Delphinium, a relaxing farming simulation with a heartfelt story. It’s scheduled to release on PC and Xbox consoles in 2027 and will support Xbox Play Anywhere. Players will get their first look at the game this week at the Game Developers Conference (GDC) Festival of Gaming 2026 in San Francisco, though the demo is currently limited to those attending.
Haiyan initially left her village to join her brother in rebuilding their country after a war. She didn’t intend to come back, but she was forced to return when her brother was executed and their efforts failed. Now heartbroken and lost, Haiyan must rebuild her own life while also helping the struggling people in her village. The choices she makes will determine her future, leading her down different paths with very different outcomes. Will she dedicate herself to helping her community thrive, or will she pursue a fresh start and independence for herself?
In Delphinium, your choices build relationships and create a unique story that evolves throughout the day and night. Get to know the villagers by chatting with them – uncover their histories and unlock new interactions, challenges, and opportunities that influence the story of Haiyan. You can spend your time completing tasks, tending to your garden, fishing, and cooking, and even give gifts to the people in town.
At the GDC Festival of Gaming, select journalists and industry experts will be the first to try out a demo of the game, starting March 10th at the ID@Xbox Press Event. This demo offers a hands-on preview of the opening chapter of Delphinium, showcasing its emotional story, expansive world, and relaxing gameplay.
