At The Game Awards 2025, Nagoshi Studio announced their new action-adventure game, Gang of Dragon. Although the initial trailer didn’t specify which systems it would be on, a Steam page has now been launched, confirming that the game will first be available on PC.
The highly anticipated new game from Toshihiro Nagoshi was finally revealed, marking his first project since joining NetEase Games. After leaving Sega and his studio, Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio, in 2021, Nagoshi established Nagoshi Studio as part of NetEase in 2022.
Gang of Dragon will offer action-adventure gameplay reminiscent of the Yakuza series, particularly games up to Yakuza 6. Unlike those games, which took place in the fictional Kamurocho, Gang of Dragon is set in the real-world Kabukicho district, and features a Korean protagonist named Shin Ji-seong.
Check out the official reveal trailer, screenshots, and details for Gang of Dragon below! The Steam page currently shows the game will feature full voiceovers in both Japanese and English, and subtitles in Korean, French, Italian, German, Spanish, and both Traditional and Simplified Chinese.

Set in the vibrant and notorious Kabukicho district of Tokyo, this action-adventure game follows Shin Ji-seong, a powerful enforcer for a Korean crime organization. Played by Ma Dong-seok, Shin navigates the dangerous streets of Shinjuku, becoming embroiled in criminal conflicts and forming meaningful relationships that force him to question his life’s direction.
The game features intense third-person combat, emphasizing Shin’s incredible strength. Players will use a combination of devastating hand-to-hand attacks, precise swordplay, gunfights, and thrilling vehicle sequences to overcome enemies throughout the city.
Experience a compelling story where brutal action and heartfelt connections collide, allowing you to shape your own journey.
