Mythic responds to VTuber Grimmi’s claims it skimmed money from campaigns

Mythic, a talent management company, has addressed claims made by former creator Grimmi about incorrect payments. They deny accusations that they took a percentage of earnings from two sponsored campaigns.

On March 8th, the company released a statement on X (formerly Twitter) addressing claims made by a VTuber regarding payment issues. They stated they reviewed their records and confirmed the VTuber was paid as outlined in her contract.

Mythic says Grimmi was paid in full for two campaigns

Mythic has responded to claims made by former streamer Grimmi about issues with her payments. The company says they are taking the allegations seriously and have carefully reviewed their payment records.

Mythic disagreed with Grimmi’s accusations that they had improperly taken funds from her campaigns, stating that all payments were made according to the terms of their contract.

Okay, so I’ve been following this whole thing with Mythic and Grimmi, and it looks like Mythic is saying those claims about them not paying her properly are just not true. Apparently, their records show Grimmi got paid exactly what she was owed for both times she worked with them, just like their contract said. It’s good to see they’re clarifying things!

Mythic’s full March 8 statement posted on X/Twitter.

According to Mythic, the two campaigns referenced were valued at $2,100 and $4,400 respectively.

Grimmi received the entire $2,100 activation amount, less a previously agreed-upon management fee. The $4,400 campaign was also paid completely, with only the management fee and any bank charges taken out.

Mythic responded to Grimmi’s claims about missing funds, explaining that if $100 and $400 had actually been taken, she would have received significantly less money in her payments.

As a fan following this situation, it seems Mythic is saying that if they had taken the money Grimmi is claiming – the $100 and $400 – her earnings would have been much lower. They also mentioned they have records from the payment platform and bank statements that could prove exactly what happened with those transactions, so it’s possible we’ll get a clear picture soon.

Before the disagreement went public, the company stated they tried reaching out to Grimmi to talk things over. They also shared documents with her – including bank statements, contracts, invoices, and payment details – related to the marketing campaigns.

The company stated they are willing to look at any evidence Grimmi provides that challenges their current understanding.
