My Hero Academia Vigilantes in a new trailer. An anime about illegal heroes is set to premiere soon

Supporters of “My Hero Academia” must prepare themselves for parting ways with the main storyline. The manga has concluded, and it’s been announced that the final season of the anime is slated for release towards the end of 2025. This means it won’t be long before we bid farewell to Deku and Class 1-A. Although saying goodbye may be challenging, there might just be some exciting news to soften the blow.

The main series of MHA isn’t concluding altogether, as new developments are being planned. Specifically, a spin-off anime titled “My Hero Academia Vigilantes” by Hideyuki Furuhashi and Court Betten is scheduled for release on April 7, 2025. This means that fans can look forward to more thrilling superhero stories! Check out the intriguing trailer below:

While this spin-off bears resemblance to MHA, it also showcases its unique identity.

In “My Hero Academia: Vigilantes,” viewers will get a fresh perspective of the superhero universe, delving into the world of unlicensed heroes who strive to aid people despite their criminal status in the eyes of the law. Unlike the students and licensed heroes we’re familiar with from the main series, this group operates outside the law. The show introduces new characters such as Kouichi Haimawari (The Crawler), Knuckleduster, and Kazuho Haneyama (Pop Step), who have their own unique stories within this unlawful band of do-gooders.

Currently, there is no information available regarding the number of episodes for the anime series, “My Hero Academia Vigilantes.” Given that the manga ends at 15 volumes, it presents a complete and self-contained story. This allows the creators to comfortably adapt the entire story into an anime, as all necessary materials are readily available.
