As a seasoned gamer and ardent follower of the My Hero Academia series, I must admit that Kohei Horikoshi’s surprise in the final volume was nothing short of exhilarating! The new epilogue, set right after the manga’s conclusion, gave us a glimpse into the reality of our favorite young heroes as they navigate their professional lives.

The anime series “My Hero Academia” concluded a few months back, but its creator, Kohei Horikoshi, had something special in store for fans – a fresh epilogue set immediately following the last chapter of the manga. This serves to wrap up the story and offer a glimpse into what professional life as a young hero might entail after graduating from school.

From this epilogue, we learn what the new hero ranking looks like.

New ranking of heroes in My Hero Academia

  • 1. Mirio
  • 2. Shoto
  • 3. Mt. Lady
  • 4. Kamui Woods
  • 5. Best Jeanist
  • 6. Mirko
  • 7. Nejire
  • 8. Wash
  • 9. Shoji
  • 10. Monoma
  • 11. Fatgum
  • 12. Kirishima
  • 13. Iida
  • 14. Honenuki
  • 15. Bakugo
  • 16. Inasa
  • 17. Tokoyami
  • 18. Tamaki
  • 19. Momo
  • 20. Shindo

It’s clear that not everyone achieved their goal of being at the pinnacle. For example, Bakugo aspired for this and ended up in fifteenth position, which was a shock to MHA fans because he didn’t even make it into the top 10. Among those who were students before the time skip, Mirio and Shoto did manage to reach the top. They are placed first and second respectively, even surpassing heroes with more experience. This may not be surprising given their natural talent to excel. As for Ochaco Uraraka, a significant character in MHA, she made it into the top 20, specifically ranking 24th.

If you find Deku missing from the list unexpectedly, it’s likely due to the fact that the epilogue occurs soon after he acquired his armor and resumed his hero duties. At this stage in his career, he is still at the beginning of his journey and must work on reestablishing his reputation before climbing the hero rankings.

I stay tuned to industry developments, but in my leisure time, I gravitate towards less mainstream titles that don’t always align with popular opinion initially. With a somewhat complex connection to the widely acclaimed productions, I often find myself forming opinions on them once the initial hype has passed. When evening rolls around, you can catch me not only watching movies, series, reading books, and playing video games but also deeply engrossed in text-based RPGs, a passion that’s been part of my life for many years.
