MrBeast’s ‘Beast Games’ Hits 50 Million Viewers in 25 Days, Amazon’s Biggest Unscripted Show Ever

The reality competition show “Beast Games,” created by YouTube star MrBeast, has become Amazon Prime Video’s most-viewed unscripted series to date.

The show managed this feat by garnering 50 million viewers within 25 days following its Dec. 19 debut, as reported by Amazon. This figure also positions it as the second most successful series premiere of 2024 on their streaming platform, trailing only “Fallout.” However, it’s important to note that Amazon does not specify exactly what they consider a viewer; thus, the number of viewers for “Beast Games” could refer to individuals who watched any part of the series, rather than those who completed full episodes.

In addition to drawing a large audience, “Beast Games” emerged as Amazon’s most subscription-boosting series in 2024, surpassing even “Fallout.” This indicates that it attracted more new subscribers than any other show. Notably, it has garnered significant popularity overseas: Amazon reports that half of its viewership comes from outside the U.S., with particularly strong performances in India, the U.K., and Mexico.

As a die-hard cinema enthusiast, I can’t help but get excited about “Beast Games,” a thrilling spectacle co-created by the legendary Jimmy Donaldson, aka MrBeast. This epic event brings together an astounding 1,000 competitors who put their physical prowess, mental acumen, and social skills to the test. The grand prize? An eye-popping $5 million cash reward!

Besides Sean Klitzner, Tyler Conklin, and Mack Hopkins contributing as co-creators, MrBeast, along with Klitzner and Conklin, acts as an executive producer. Michael Cruz, Matt Apps, Charles Wachter, Keith Geller, Joe Coleman, and Rachel Skidmore are also involved in the executive production process.
