MrBeast, whose real name is Jimmy Donaldson, replied to a fan who asked him to send money based on how long they’ve been subscribed to his YouTube channel.
MrBeast’s incredible generosity and willingness to spend big have made him the most popular creator on YouTube.
At first, Jimmy only gifted money to his friends and fellow content creators. Now, he also gives money to viewers and celebrities. A lot of his recent videos involve challenges for viewers, sometimes even putting them in unusual situations like being locked in a room with an ex-partner.
Because he’s so generous, Beast Industries, his company, had to set up a special fund – nicknamed the ‘Jimmy Fund’ – to cover unexpected donations he makes beyond the company’s budget.
MrBeast giving thousands to YouTube subscriber
This all started when someone on TikTok admitted she was only following him to try and get free money. When he found out, he surprised her with a $10,000 gift, asking her to check her direct messages.
The trend has also led to some interesting requests, like one fan on X (formerly Twitter) jokingly asking Jimmy to pay them an amount equal to the number of days they’ve been a subscriber to his YouTube channel.
A fan who had been subscribed to MrBeast for 2,843 days jokingly asked if he could receive $2,843. MrBeast replied with a simple, “Sure.”

Other fans are also testing to see if the formula works for them. One person wrote, ‘It’s been 2,537 days for me – will I win something?’ Another commented, ‘I’ve been a subscriber since Bitcoin started, hoping to receive 1 Bitcoin!’
People show their support for MrBeast and his YouTube channels by subscribing, but he won’t be rewarding every subscriber with money – it would simply be too expensive.
