As a devoted admirer of MrBeast, I’ve been eagerly following his recent updates, particularly the response he shared after the release of his charitable video titled “I helped 2,000 people walk again.” This video, surprisingly, marked a dip in viewership compared to his previous releases over the past few months.
This past Saturday, January 11th, YouTube personality Jimmy ‘MrBeast’ Donaldson shared a new charitable video featuring him collaborating with a robotics firm to distribute 2,000 prosthetic limbs to individuals who have lost limbs.
Following the upload of the video, Donaldson expressed his opinions on U.S. healthcare via his X account, disclosing that a significant number of individuals he assisted in regaining their mobility were American.
Recently, we shared a video showcasing how we assisted 2,000 amputees in regaining the ability to walk. Shockingly, many of these individuals reside in a country known for its wealth, yet their only hope for obtaining a prosthetic leg is through a YouTuber. It’s appalling that this is the case, and changes need to be made.
Recently, I shared a video showcasing our assistance in helping 2,000 amputees regain mobility. A significant number of them reside in America, and it’s disheartening to think that in a nation with such abundant resources, a YouTube creator might be their sole hope for acquiring a prosthetic limb. It’s time we address this issue.

I’ve got to say, the buzz about MrBeast’s recent video has been swirling fast on social media, and it turns out this latest video isn’t doing as well as his last 9.
MrBeast’s ‘I Helped 2,000 people Walk Again’ becomes worst-performing video
On the MrBeast Statistics page at X, it was shown that his most recent video garnered noticeably lower viewings and likes in its initial 24-hour period compared to previous releases.
“Views: 24,068,759 [20.3M Less]. Likes: 1,529,032 [731K Less],” it said.”
The user stated that it could reasonably be considered that he doesn’t produce philanthropy videos merely for the sake of gaining views.
They pointed out that despite my skepticism, it’s plausible that he might not produce such videos merely for views or money.
This prompted MrBeast to respond, confirming that he “knew the video wouldn’t perform well.”
He acknowledged that the video might not do well, but that was alright for him because his main intention was to assist others and bring attention to an important issue.
Indeed, I was aware that the video might not do exceptionally well, but that’s alright. What truly mattered to me was the opportunity to assist others and shed light on an important issue, which brings me joy 🥰.

It’s not the first occasion where MrBeast has experienced a highly anticipated video underperforming on YouTube. In fact, his collaboration video with Twitch star Kai Cenat and YouTube personality IShowSpeed from October last year was his poorest-performing video throughout the entire year.
