MrBeast responds after being parodied in SNL’s ‘Beauty and MrBeast’ sketch

On the November 9th episode of Saturday Night Live, hosted by Nikki Glaser, the show parodied popular YouTuber MrBeast, whose real name is Jimmy Donaldson.

The comedian appeared in a parody video called ‘Beauty and MrBeast,’ which playfully reimagines Disney’s ‘Beauty and the Beast’ with MrBeast taking on the role of the Beast. In the four-minute sketch, Glaser played Belle and Ben Marshall from the Please Don’t Destroy comedy group played MrBeast.

This parody takes the structure of the classic animated movie, but with a MrBeast twist. Instead of a curse needing to be broken, Belle’s father is held captive as part of a challenge to win over $300,000. The sketch cleverly plays on MrBeast’s famous challenge videos – known for big prizes and extravagant stunts – and includes funny versions of songs from the original film.

After the show aired, a sketch quickly became popular online, with many viewers complimenting both the humor and how realistically Marshall imitated the person they were portraying. TopMob also contacted MrBeast for a statement.

Donaldson said he was surprised they mentioned him on the show, but as soon as it aired, his phone started receiving a lot of notifications. He found the whole thing amusing.

MrBeast, a hugely popular YouTuber with over 250 million subscribers, is well-known for incorporating pop culture into his videos. He’s become famous for his elaborate challenges and generous charitable acts, and now he’s even being featured on late-night comedy shows.
