MrBeast has started releasing episodes of his new animated series, ‘MrBeast Lab,’ on a dedicated YouTube channel called Beast Animations. The first episodes went live on October 26th, officially launching the series.
The project was first announced in July with a trailer on X, which showed it would center around MrBeast and his team.
The show starts in a colorful, animated world where MrBeast and his friends discover a dangerous force called the Shroud. They use the high-tech MrBeast Lab to build special creatures, called Hybrid Beasts, to fight these mysterious enemies. The series is closely linked to the MrBeast Lab toy collection, featuring the toys as characters within the story.
There are currently two episodes available, each running around three minutes.
MrBeast explains why they’re so short
Alongside the release, MrBeast posted to X to explain the format of the initial drop.
BeastLabs is finally here! The episodes are short – just 3 minutes each – because it’s costly to work with so many amazing artists. I’m using this as practice before I create a longer, 12-episode, 20-minute show. The team did a fantastic job, and I’d love to hear your feedback!
The creator also noted that the team behind the shorts features a number of professional animators.

MrBeast launched his reality competition show, Beast Games, on Amazon Prime Video in December 2024. The show featured 1,000 players battling it out for a massive $10 million prize – the biggest cash reward ever offered on a reality competition series.
I was totally blown away by Beast Games! It quickly became Amazon’s biggest unscripted hit – over 50 million people tuned in within just 25 days, and it even hit number one in more than 80 countries! It’s seriously incredible.
