MrBeast hits back at critic for negative Beast Games review that called it “painful”

As a long-time follower of MrBeast and his captivating YouTube content, I have to admit that my excitement for his latest venture, Beast Games, was through the roof. The anticipation built over months, fueled by the promise of an unprecedented cash prize and MrBeast’s signature flair for the extraordinary.

In a response online, internet personality MrBeast defended Beast Games’ latest reality TV show against criticism, praising the efforts of the numerous team members who contributed to the project.

MrBeast has firmly established himself as the top YouTuber with the largest subscriber base, mainly due to his extravagant video content and innovative ideas.

Through his popular Squid Game video on YouTube, collaborations with Kai Cenat and others, this content creator has built a substantial fanbase. Breaking out of his usual sphere and leading his most significant project to date, MrBeast is teaming up with Amazon Prime Video for an innovative reality TV series titled Beast Games.

According to Mr. Beast, the latest series has shattered numerous records, such as boasting the largest cash prize among shows within its genre and countless additional records.

After months of anticipation and hype, people can now express their opinions about the first two episodes of Beast Games that have been released, as they’ve finally hit the web.

Although Beast Games is currently dominating as the top-rated series on Prime Video in over 50 countries, it seems not all fans are enthused about Mr. Beast’s latest endeavor.

MrBeast calls negative Beast Games review “sad”

On December 21st, via a post on X/Twitter, YouTube star MrBeast responded to a particularly critical review of Beast Games by IGN. This particular assessment rated the show a mere 2, with the description “excruciating.” In this instance, MrBeast stood up for the program.

In the comments section, the YouTuber shared his views regarding the criticism of Beast Games’ reception being labeled as “shock value” by another user.

Yeah, sad one person who doesn’t like me can just label something a thousand people poured their lives into a 2/10 when it’s clearly not. The show as future episodes drop is phenomenal especially once we get the number of contestants down and you get to know them!

One disgruntled individual may rate something that countless others have dedicated themselves to, a mere 2 out of 10, but it’s evidently not as poor as they suggest.

Later on, MrBeast remarked, “As more episodes come out, this show becomes truly exceptional. It’s particularly captivating when we reduce the number of contestants and you get to know them better!

At the moment, you can catch the initial two installments of Beast Games on Amazon Prime Video. Fresh episodes will be added every week.
