MrBeast confirms he has an offer ready to buy TikTok: “We mean business”

Following his meeting with a cluster of billionaires, YouTube sensation MrBeast has expressed that he now has a proposal for purchasing TikTok.

As TikTok faces a potential ban in the U.S. starting from January 19, 2025, users are actively seeking solutions to ensure the popular short video platform continues to operate beyond this date.

One method involves notable figures such as celebrities and business owners expressing an intention to purchase TikTok from its original owner, ByteDance. On Tuesday, January 14, MrBeast publicly showed interest in this possibility.

The popular YouTuber hinted at receiving contact from multiple wealthy individuals who showed interest in purchasing TikTok, and later confirmed this assertion the following day.

MrBeast says he has offer to buy TikTok

On his TikTok page, MrBeast announced that he’s prepared an offer to buy the app from ByteDance.

Just finished chatting with some high-rolling folks. TikTok’s future is on the line, and we’re serious about stepping in. We’ve got a solid proposal for you. This platform is too important for us Americans, so let’s find common ground. I want to be part of the decision-making process, help steer this ship, save TikTok.

The video spread rapidly, gathering almost 3 million views and 12,000 comments within a little more than an hour.

It’s unclear who MrBeast had conversations with about potentially purchasing the brief video app, but his followers are supportive of the YouTube personality acquiring TikTok.

“MrBeast is the best thing that happened to this world in the last few years,” one user commented.

Another said: “WE R COUNTING ON U MR BEAST.”

“MR BEAST SIR SAVE AMERICA,” replied a third.

Some people prefer MrBeast over Elon Musk as the potential buyer for the app, given the speculation that he might be collaborating with Chinese government officials in a possible acquisition deal.

However, TikTok quickly debunked that rumor, calling it “pure fiction.”
