This new product is being released as “dirty soda” becomes increasingly popular. This drink trend started on TikTok, where people combine regular sodas with cream, syrups, and different flavorings. Videos using the hashtag #DirtySoda have been viewed millions of times, taking what was once a trend mainly shared among momtok users and making it popular with a wider audience.
This isn’t the first time Mountain Dew has tried a “dirty soda” concept. Earlier, in June, the company collaborated with KFC to launch a new take on their Sweet Lightning flavor, adding peaches and cream to the mix.
