Moth Atlas and Midwest Games unveil 2D western souls-like action RPG Tombwater coming in 2025 for PC

Having dabbled in my fair share of Souls-Like games in the past, I can’t help but be drawn to the eerie, haunted town of Tombwater and its eldritch monstrosities lurking beneath the surface.

Developer Moth Atlas, in partnership with Midwest Games, unveiled the upcoming title “Tombwater” – a thrilling 2D souls-like action RPG featuring a top-down perspective. The game is planned to debut on Steam and other PC platforms in the year 2025.

Adventurers assume the role of a solitary outlaw arriving in the ghostly frontier town of Tombwater. This once bustling settlement is now nothing more than a haunted remnant of its former self due to the presence of grotesque creatures. The missing friend of our hero, Sheriff Elliott Flintwood, is at the heart of the mystery that players must solve.

Use an assortment of tools for overcoming obstacles ranging from modern firearms like shotguns, historic weapons such as cavalry sabers, unconventional items like a pickaxe, and the classic six-shooter every cowboy needs. Create ammunition, explosives, and other resources to navigate the unknown areas shrouded in darkness.
