On each gaming platform, the popularity of characters in Marvel Rivals’ competitive matches is analyzed separately, offering an understanding of which characters are leading the charge in ranked sessions on both computers and consoles. As of now, Luna Snow is reigning supreme on PC, whereas players using PlayStation and Xbox prefer Cloak & Dagger.

As a fan, I was taken aback to discover Jeff the Land Shark isn’t ranked high on either platform, given he’s the most-picked character in Quickplay. This indicates that while he’s favored by more casual players for support, those aiming for top tiers tend to opt for characters like Luna Snow and Mantis as their healers instead.

Most and least popular characters in Marvel Rivals

In Marvel Rivals, Cloak & Dagger stand out as the most favored characters due to their frequent selection across all game modes and devices. These characters are often seen in almost every contest, primarily because they excel in a wide range of team configurations, making them indispensable for many players.

Contrarily, Storm was the least chosen hero during Season 0, making up only 3.42% of all picks between Quickplay and Competitive matches. However, as previously stated, Storm received a significant boost in Season 1, potentially leading to a surge in her popularity before the next update arrives.

When does Marvel Rivals hero data update?

According to developers of Marvel Rivals, they plan to revise both pick and win rates approximately every six months of gameplay. Therefore, the existing data is from Season 0, while the next revision is expected during the midpoint of Season 1.

As a devoted fan, I’m excited to share that characters like Mister Fantastic and Sue Storm won’t appear in our data yet, because they officially join the team only from Season 1. So, if you’re eager to know how the new Fantastic Four is faring, remember to revisit this page post the mid-season update. We’ll be refreshing the standings with the latest figures then!
