Prior to its official release, Capcom unveiled the “Hero’s Verification” teaser for the upcoming game, Monster Hunter Wilds. The trailer’s title is a nod to the franchise’s iconic theme song, famously known as “Proof of a Hero.
Following its release, players can anticipate temporary special event quests offering unique armor rewards. Additionally, planned updates for Monster Hunter Wilds include the first free title update arriving in April, which will reintroduce the returning creature Mizutsune and introduce fresh event quests. A second title update is expected in summer 2025, bringing a new monster and additional event quests to the game.
Enthusiasts can rejoice as they mark the commencement of the latest phase for the joint venture titled “Monster Hunter Now and Monster Hunter Wilds“. This collaboration’s second phase kicks off on February 28, running through March 31. During this special period, the creature Chatacabra from Monster Hunter Wilds will become visible in desert environments upon completion of a temporary mission called an “Urgent Quest”. Items obtainable from this collaboration include a unique Seikret Rider layered outfit, Weapon Refining Parts, Armor Refining Parts, and Zenny.
The action RPG title, “Monster Hunter World”, has just been released on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam, accompanied by a 15 GB day one update. Final Weapon magazine awarded it a 4 out of 5, praising it as an outstanding addition to the long-standing series and a fitting sequel to Capcom’s most successful game to date. Although there have been some technical issues, the combat system in “Monster Hunter World” is hailed as one of the best in the franchise, and it also features the series’ first proper narrative mode.
