As a huge fan of Invincible, I’m so excited to see the fighting game, Invincible VS, adding even more characters! They just announced Robot and Monster Girl are joining the roster, and it’s getting me even more hyped for the 2026 release. It feels like they’re constantly revealing new fighters, which is awesome!
Invincible VS lets players control the popular characters from the acclaimed comic and animated series in a quick and exciting 3v3 arena battle.
The game is planned to launch with between 15 and 20 playable characters, and it appears we’ve already seen around half of them.
Cecil Stedman is the newest fighter to join the game, and he offers a unique style of play with both long-range attacks and tricky close-combat options. However, the next two fighters coming out are expected to focus more on direct, powerful fighting.
Monster Girl & Robot face off with armored moves and laser cannons
Just in time for Halloween, Quarter Up has revealed the next two characters joining the Invincible VS roster: Monster Girl and Robot.

Okay, so I’ve been playing Monster Girl, and she’s seriously strong! She’s all about getting in close and just wrecking people. Think super aggressive – she’s got this awesome overhead knee drop and a charge where she just barrels through everything, totally smashing anyone who gets in her path. She’s definitely a rushdown type of character, meaning you want to be constantly on the offensive.
The character in the show visibly ages backward with each transformation, but it’s unknown if this will be reflected in the game. However, the game’s publisher, Invincible VS, has stated that the character’s persistence will allow her to return more powerful even when seemingly defeated.

If you’ve played Killer Instinct, Robot might remind you of Fulgore. He excels at close-range combat, but also has tools for keeping opponents at bay, like powerful rockets and cannons. He can deal significant damage from a distance, and even has a laser to create space. Robot is a well-rounded and flexible character, making him a strong addition to any player’s roster.
Staying true to the original show, Quarter Up has given both Monster Girl and Robot unique, funny reactions when they take damage. Fans of the series will definitely enjoy these details!

The game welcomes a new roster of fighters and boasts a brand-new story, separate from the comic books and animated series. The narrative, penned by Helen Leigh (co-executive producer and writer for Invincible) alongside co-creator Robert Kirkman and Michael Rogers, features 25 minutes of unique, custom-made animation.
Invincible VS will be released in 2026 for Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC. Players can sign up to try the game early in a Closed Alpha test running from November 21st to 24th.
