So, Battlefield 6 is finally out, but it’s been a rough launch, honestly. A lot of us are having problems – some can’t even get the game to *start* without it crashing, others are stuck waiting in massive queues, and a bunch of people are getting an error saying they need to download the multiplayer stuff again. But here’s a weird one: if you played the beta or splurged on the Phantom Edition, it looks like some of our content is missing in the full release! Luckily, the developers know about all of this and are working on a fix, so hopefully, things will get smoothed out soon.
Missing Phantom Edition rewards for Battlefield 6? A solution is in the works
The special ‘Phantom Edition’ of Battlefield 6 costs $30 more than the standard game, bringing the total price to $100. This edition includes extras like unique character skins, a sticker, a charm, and a ‘Battlefield Pro Token’. This token normally requires a separate purchase and gives access to exclusive in-game items. Because many players reported not receiving these bonus items, the game developer has acknowledged the issue and is looking into it.

Someone on the *Battlefield 6* team posted on the Steam Discussion board to let players know they’re investigating a problem where some people aren’t receiving their earned in-game rewards. This includes rewards from the Phantom Edition, the Open Beta, and the Road to Battlefield 6. They said they’ll update everyone once the issue is fixed. The post was made about an hour ago, and there haven’t been any further updates yet.
Beyond issues with the Phantom Edition, players who took part in the Open Beta are also finding that their game progress and earned rewards are missing. One player reported that it’s like their account was reset to the beginning. This is understandably upsetting, particularly after investing time and effort – and money, for those who bought the Phantom Edition. The development team is aware of the problem, though, and hopefully a fix is on the way – it might just take some time.
