PAGEANT POWERHOUSE

As an ardent follower of the glamorous world of pageants and Bollywood, I am absolutely thrilled to witness the debut of the radiant and accomplished Harnaaz Sandhu in “Baaghi 4”. Her journey from being crowned Miss Universe 2021 to gracing the silver screen alongside stars like Tiger Shroff, Sanjay Dutt, and Sonam Bajwa is truly a testament to her resilience and determination.

India’s Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment has chosen Harnaaz Sandhu, the winner of Miss Universe 2021, to make her Bollywood debut in “Baaghi 4”. This announcement is made three years after Sandhu’s victory at the Miss Universe pageant.

The movie, led by director A. Harsha, will star Sandhu alongside popular actors Tiger Shroff and Sanjay Dutt, with Sonam Bajwa completing the lineup for the cast. As always, producer Sajid Nadiadwala is nurturing fresh talent in cinema, having introduced Shroff, Kriti Sanon, and Ahan Shetty to Hindi films earlier.

Previously, Sandhu has appeared in the movies “Bai Ji Kuttange” (2022) and “Yaaran Diyan Poun Baaran” (2023), both filmed in Punjabi.

In cinemas on September 5, 2025, you’ll find “Baaghi 4,” the newest addition to the action series produced by Nadiadwala.

SWAPPING STARS

Banijay Entertainment has acquired global format rights for the series “My Name Is Gabriel” (originally titled “Mai Neim Ijeu Gabeuriel”), which was produced by TEO Corp from South Korea. The show, developed by PDs Kim Tae-ho (“Infinite Challenge”) and Jung Jong-yeon (“The Devil’s Plan”), initially aired on JTBC and Disney+.

The reality show puts famous individuals into cross-cultural situations, having them live as everyday people for three days in a different nation. They perform the tasks and jobs of their counterparts during this time, ultimately encountering the actual person who they pretended to be.
