I’ve seen a lot of games let you wander around real cities, but honestly, the new game *Pigeon: A Love Story* really blew my mind with how massive it makes a place like Paris, London, or New York feel! It’s exactly what it sounds like – you play as a pigeon on a mission to find the love of your life in a super busy city. It was revealed at the Six One Indie showcase, and I’m already hooked by the idea!
Each virtual “pigeon hub” is built to exact scale, and Alex Taylor, the developer, also made sure to include a realistic number of pigeons in each one.
Pigeon: A Love Story is a relaxing game set in a bustling city where you play as a pigeon looking for love. You can explore the entire city and interact with thousands of other pigeons, all living their own lives. Finding a mate can be tough, so you can even play with a friend – either working together, competing, or trying to find each other!
The game offers a surprisingly relaxing experience. You can even let it run on its own, like a screensaver, and simply enjoy watching the world and its creatures. A calming soundtrack enhances the peaceful atmosphere with its lo-fi style.
Although other games have featured pigeons before, like Hatoful Boyfriend, this new game is a more detailed attempt to simulate their dating lives. It’s coming to PC through Steam, but a specific release date hasn’t been announced yet.
