To fully immerse players in the PlayStation experience, we took advantage of the DualSense controller’s unique features. The controller’s adaptive triggers change resistance based on speed and the ground surface, and even simulate the feeling of flying. Sound from air traffic control comes directly through the controller, making it feel like a real cockpit. We also used the controller’s motion controls, lightbar, and customizable touchpad to deepen the sense of being in the pilot’s seat, according to the developer.
While many think of Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 as a first for PlayStation, several other Microsoft games are already available on the platform, including Sea of Thieves, Forza Horizon 5, Grounded, and Gears of War: Reloaded.
