Miami vs. Indiana College Football Playoff National Championship Results According to College Football 26
College Football 26 is predicting that Indiana will win the national championship, beating Miami with a final score of 33-14.
| TEAM | 1st Quarter | 2nd Quarter | 3rd Quarter | 4th Quarter | FINAL |
| #10 MIA | 7 | 0 | 0 | 7 | 14 |
| #1 IND | 3 | 21 | 3 | 6 | 33 |
Miami got off to a strong start, with a touchdown pass from Carson Beck and a defense that held Indiana to only three points. However, a terrible second quarter quickly turned the game around for the Hurricanes.
Fernando Mendoza first connected with Omar Cooper Jr. for a short touchdown, putting his team ahead. Shortly after, Mendoza threw a long 63-yard pass to Charlie Becker for another score. Before halftime, Roman Hemby of the Hoosiers ran for a 1-yard touchdown, extending the lead to 24-7.
Miami’s defense tightened up after halftime, holding Indiana to only nine points. Unfortunately, the offense, led by Beck, couldn’t capitalize. They had chances to score, but ultimately struggled to convert those opportunities. This allowed Indiana to increase their lead until Mark Fletcher Jr. finally broke their scoring run.
Miami struggled in the second quarter, giving Indiana the advantage they needed to secure the win. Indiana played strong defense and their quarterback performed at a very high level, ultimately leading them to victory. This win marks the Indiana Hoosiers’ first-ever National Championship.
Fernando Mendoza is finishing his college career strong and is expected to be the top pick – or at least the first quarterback selected – in the upcoming NFL draft, and he’s earned it. While Miami’s season ended in disappointment, making it all the way as a 10th-seeded team was still a remarkable achievement. They also had the success of winning both the Fiesta Bowl and Cotton Bowl, which is something to be proud of.

That concludes our simulation of the Miami versus Indiana game in College Football 26. Thanks for watching, and we’ll have more game simulations for you soon!
So, we’re working on making our game simulations way better, that’s the goal. It’s been frustrating though – I’ve messed with all sorts of settings, like CPU and player sliders, but it doesn’t seem to affect how the AI plays against itself. It’s like those changes just don’t register for CPU vs. CPU matches. But we’re definitely not giving up, we’re still pushing to get those simulations improved!
