In 2024, ReFantazio was showered with praise on numerous Game of the Year lists, and rightfully so; its global debut was met with widespread critical acclaim. This fantastical RPG, developed by Studio Zero and co-published by SEGA and Atlus (known for their work on the Persona series), hit the market in October 2024, earning an overwhelming number of positive reviews from both critics and gamers. Now, it’s set to venture into a fresh medium.

Enthusiasts of metaphors can look forward to the news that the series is being transformed for a fresh format, even though there’s been a lot of buzz about an anime adaptation among players and fans. However, it’s not official yet, but the upcoming Metaphor adaption will be here faster than many might anticipate.

Based on a tweet from Manga Plus, the widely recognized manga reading platform, it has been announced that the fantasy RPG Metaphor: ReFantazio is set to receive a manga adaptation. Starting on January 21st, 2025, the manga will be available on Manga Plus for both Western and Japanese audiences as it launches simultaneously in both regions.

According to reports, it seems that this online manga reading service offers free access to ongoing titles. However, there are Standard and Deluxe tiers if you want more manga content.
