Approximately a fortnight ago, Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater surpassed the 1 million mark in sales on various gaming platforms and computers. Recently, Konami rolled out an update to rectify some issues within the game.
The latest update for Metal Gear Solid Delta, version 1.1.3, is now available on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, with the Steam version set to release shortly. One of the key features in this update is the introduction of an inverted camera option. Konami mentions that the update has addressed minor bugs, improved textures and models in specific scenes, resolved game crashes, and fixed a bug related to unclaimed rewards for collecting GA-KO items.
According to Konami, the following issues are being investigated for future fixes:
- (Steam) Support for 21:9 aspect ratio displays (excluding demo scenes).
- (Steam) In-game feature to check system specifications.
- (PlayStation 5) Option to select a preferred rendering mode when playing on PlayStation 5 Pro.
- (All Platforms) Improvements to overall performance stability.
Embracing the world of gaming, I’ve come to find that an “ultrawide display” is just another exciting phrase for the “21:9 aspect ratio.” However, when it comes to the PS5 Pro, unlike other gaming realms, it doesn’t yet provide a variety of Quality or Performance modes to tailor your gameplay experience.
As a devoted fan, I’ve got some exciting news to share! Compared to the latest update, the one from late August was packed with more substantial fixes. In the world of Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, MGS Delta held on to most of the original voice recordings, and that’s a great thing! The voice actor for Snake, David Hayter, has voiced his wish to reprise his role with an additional two decades of acting experience under his belt. And if that wasn’t enough, Lori Alan, the voice actress for The Boss, even shared photos of her cosplaying as her character to celebrate the launch of Metal Gear Solid Delta! What a fantastic nod to our beloved series!
In the upcoming season, Metal Gear Solid Delta introduces a stealthy multiplayer game called Fox Hunt. Yet, this mode doesn’t include cross-platform compatibility. Currently available for play on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC, Metal Gear Soldier Delta: Snake Eater has been highly rated with a score of 9 by TopMob in their review.
Metal Gear Solid Delta 1.1.3 update patch notes are reproduced below.
- Added Inverted Camera Look (Horizontal) option. (This setting can be found in the Options menu under Controls.)
- Fixed an issue where players might not receive the reward for collecting all GA-KO.

- Minor bug fixes and adjustments.
