Behold, a trio of meme coins that, according to the soothsayers of the internet, may soon ascend to the hallowed ranks of the billion-dollar market cap club. Or, as is equally likely, plummet into obscurity. Let us proceed with a healthy dose of skepticism and a dash of Waughian wit.

1. Troll (TROLL) 🧌

TROLL, a meme token on Solana, currently basks in a market cap of $145 million. Coinbase, that bastion of financial propriety, has deigned to list it, and Binance Alpha whispers of a future spot listing. How thrilling.

Nansen data reveals that TROLL whales-those leviathans of the crypto sea-have been accumulating with the fervor of a Victorian gentleman hoarding tea. Their balances swelled by 18%, while exchange balances shrank by 12.8%. Solscan, ever the busybody, notes that holders have doubled in the last quarter, from 19,000 to nearly 49,000. A veritable stampede, one might say.

“I’m not rlly gonna push anything else until $Troll is in the billions,” declares Investor Free, with the gravity of a man pronouncing on the inevitability of the sun rising. “It’s as clear as day that it belongs in the top memecoins with Doge & Pepe. 2. Toshi (TOSHI) 🐱

TOSHI, named after the feline companion of Coinbase’s co-founder Brian Armstrong, is the mascot of Base, a Layer-2 blockchain. Its market cap hovers around $337 million, though it once flirted with $400 million. Such are the vicissitudes of the crypto world.

“The power and strength of the TOSHI community is literally insane,” proclaims Flynn, Social Media and Partnerships Manager at Toshi, with the modesty of a peacock. “We are by far the largest and strongest active community on Base. But now we are becoming the largest and strongest in web3 if not already.” One can almost hear the collective eye-roll of the internet.

Santiment reports that TOSHI’s Social Dominance metric has been climbing steadily, a sure sign of rising attention-or, perhaps, rising delusion. Upbit and Coinbase investors dominate its trading volume, and a Binance listing could send it soaring. Or crashing. The line between the two is often perilously thin.

3. Rekt (REKT) 🥤

REKT, the world’s first “brand coin,” is backed by a beverage brand. Its market cap stands at $276 million, and it has sold over 1 million cans worldwide in its first year. By August 2025, it reached a $600 million market cap, a testament to the “consume-to-earn” model. Or, as one might say, drinking your way to riches.

The Rekt team has grand plans, including the launch of REKT Energy in late 2025 and a $2 million deal with GameSquare to develop physical and digital products. “With a $278 million market cap, the upside potential is huge,” declares Investor Nick, with the confidence of a man who’s never heard of market corrections. “It’s just a matter of time.” Time, and perhaps a miracle.
