Meghan Markle Delays Netflix Show ‘With Love, Meghan’ Due to L.A. Wildfires

The start date for Meghan Markle‘s new cooking series, “With Love, Meghan,” has been delayed because of the ongoing wildfires in Los Angeles, causing Netflix to postpone its launch.

The show, starring the Duchess of Sussex preparing meals for friends such as Mindy Kaling and her fellow “Suits” actor Abigail Spencer, was scheduled to debut on January 15th.

After the wildfires in California, a native of Los Angeles requested Netflix to delay the release to next month. The show will now premiere on the streaming platform on March 4th.

Markle expressed gratitude towards his colleagues at Netflix for allowing him to postpone the launch, since our attention is directed towards helping those affected by the wildfires in California, his home state,” (Markle stated in a message).

The series, believed to be shot in Santa Barbara where Meghan Markle currently resides, includes Roy Choi, Alice Waters, and a cameo by her spouse, Prince Harry. Directed by Michael Steed, this eight-part production will air soon.

The fires that ignited on Tuesday are rapidly escalating into one of California’s most devastating natural catastrophes. To date, 16 fatalities have been reported, along with the demolition of over 10,000 buildings, causing thousands to flee their homes. Firefighters persist in combating numerous fires amid challenging weather circumstances.

On a Friday, Markle and Harry joined Jennifer, the wife of Governor Gavin Newsom, at the Pasadena Convention Center to interact with individuals impacted by the recent fires.
