Mega Man Star Force Legacy Collection Coming In 2026

It’s been a while since Mega Man starred in his own game – the last one, Mega Man 11, came out in 2018. But Capcom hasn’t forgotten about the Blue Bomber! To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Mega Man Star Force series in 2026, they’re releasing a collection that includes all seven Star Force games.

Mega Man Star Force, released in 2006, continued the story started in the Mega Man Battle Network series. It featured a new hero, Geo Stelar, who joined forces with an alien named Omega-Xis. Set 200 years after the events of Battle Network, their adventures spanned seven action-RPG games, culminating with Mega Man Star Force 3: Red Joker in 2008.

The seven Star Force games in the Legacy Collection are listed below:

  • Mega Man Star Force Pegasus
  • Mega Man Star Force Leo
  • Mega Man Star Force Dragon
  • Mega Man Star Force 2 Zerker x Ninja
  • Mega Man Star Force 2 Zerker x Saurian
  • Mega Man Star Force 3 Black Ace
  • Mega Man Star Force 3 Red Joker

Originally created for the Nintendo DS, the Legacy Collection adapts the dual-screen gameplay to a single TV screen. It also offers an improved experience, letting players trade cards and battle online with each other.

Capcom has announced that the Mega Man Star Force Legacy Collection is coming in 2026, but hasn’t given a specific release date yet. Players will be able to find it on Nintendo Switch, both PlayStation consoles (PS5 and PS4), Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One, as well as PC.

Capcom recently confirmed that Mega Man remains a key franchise for them. Although a new game hasn’t been announced, fans can look forward to the classic Mega Man cartoon series being released on Blu-ray on October 28th.
