Starting February 3rd, McDonald’s UK is partnering with the popular TV show Friends. They’re offering a special Friends-themed meal, collectible toys, and some new items on their menu at restaurants across the country.
I’m so excited! McDonald’s is teaming up with Warner Bros. to bring a Friends-themed meal to the UK! It’s not just the food, though – they’re including awesome collectible figurines, special packaging, rewards on the McDonald’s app, and even a brand new dipping sauce inspired by Monica’s perfectionism. I can’t wait to try it all!
The Friends menu offers a choice of a Big Mac, 10-piece Chicken McNuggets, or a McPlant, all served with fries and a soft drink. You can order meals in Medium or Large, and each one comes with a collectible featuring one of the six Friends – Rachel, Monica, Phoebe, Ross, Chandler, or Joey.
Collectibles, sauce,s and new menu additions headline the rollout
McDonald’s in the UK is now offering a special collection of six toys based on the popular TV show Friends. Each toy represents a memorable scene or character, including Ross and Marcel the monkey, Rachel working at the coffee shop, Monica in the kitchen, Phoebe playing her guitar, and Chandler and Joey with their pets, a chick and a duck.
In addition to new toys, the restaurant is also selling Monica’s Marinara Sauce for a limited time. This tomato-based sauce, made with garlic, onion, and herbs, is perfect for dipping Chicken McNuggets and Fries.
The promotion features special Friends-themed packaging on items like Chicken and McNugget Shareboxes, showcasing Joey and the New York City skyline.
McDonald’s McCafé cups now feature designs inspired by the Central Perk coffee shop from the TV show Friends. They’ve also added a new side dish called Pizza Mozzarella Dippers – breaded mozzarella served with marinara sauce, all in special *Friendsthemed packaging.
During the campaign, McDonald’s app users can earn extra rewards. If you order through the app, you could win one of four special mugs inspired by the TV show Friends. The mugs feature iconic designs like the orange sofa, Monica’s purple door frame, the fountain from the show’s opening, and the group’s favourite coffee shop.
This isn’t the first McDonald’s collaboration with the popular TV show. In 2024, McDonald’s in Spain actually released a special “adult Happy Meal” featuring one of six collectible figures.
