Knight discussed the show with Empire and readily admitted it has a certain silliness. However, he believes this is actually one of the things that makes Masters of the Universe so good.

Knight admits the project has a playful, even ridiculous side, and they’re fully leaning into that. He actually sees it as a strength, and it’s intentionally part of the story to connect with today’s viewers. For example, a character might have an unusual name, but the movie will eventually explain the reason behind it.
