College football bowl games are happening now, and the very first Xbox Bowl was played on December 18th – it was quite a game!
Arkansas State won the championship game against Missouri State with a final score of 34-28. They had a significant lead, 31-7, heading into the last quarter, but Missouri State fought back and scored 21 points, making the game much closer before Arkansas State secured the win.
The Xbox Bowl featured several partnerships with the Xbox brand, including the iconic Master Chief flipping the coin at the game’s start. Arkansas State’s Corey Rucker Jr. was named Offensive MVP and received a special “Achievement Unlocked” trophy, and teammate Kyle Taylor earned Defensive MVP along with a matching trophy.

To award the championship trophy, Master Chief drove onto the field in a Warthog and presented it to Arkansas State. The trophy itself was a unique creation: an Xbox Ally handheld console mounted on a football-shaped metal base, adorned with the Xbox logo.
Achievement unlocked!

Both teams were given Xbox systems, specifically the Rog Xbox Ally handheld devices, and the video shows the Missouri State players were really excited about them.

The College Football Campus Tour, known for highlighting obstructed views in stadiums, recently visited the Xbox Bowl at The Ford Center in Frisco, Texas. They found that a seat in section 204, row 16, seat 23, had very limited field visibility – only about 36%, as shown in the picture below. That’s a significantly blocked view!
Heads up! The view from seat 23 in section 204, row 16 at The Star stadium in Frisco, Texas (for the Xbox Bowl) is partially obstructed – you’ll only be able to see about 36% of the field.
